For the past week, this has been a daily listen. Like angling, this work is an etherial exercise in mindfulness; a catalyst for the slow transformation of patience into tranquility. It pairs wonderfully with Canadian autumn: a perfect companion for the slow drift into the darkest, coldest Northern days. To quote track 4, "the countryside must be experienced in its worst weather to appreciate the different shades of its beauty." Here is an album to keep you present in these times. Sam
This is a very special album. One of my all time favorites. Drums and percussion are actually soothing. Mark Seelig has an exotic eastern sound. Nobody does it like these 2 guys. Well done! Oh yes and Frore (Paul Casper) , his beautiful sounds pull this all together. I love his playing. natarajaswami
